Let me just say that I loved this book. I really related to Thea. I loved that she was...complex. She was not your typical leading lady in a romance novel. (She has a huge tattoo on her back and now I want one too, by the way:) Alex comes along and the two of them are drawn together, 'like magnets'. He's a billionaire, but not the typical billionaire character I've come to expect in romance novels. Thea is rich, too, but both characters were still 'real' to me.What I like about this author's writing is that she writes complex, intelligent characters with real issues to tackle. Character development and dialogue is terrific.
Highly recommend this book. Can't wait to read more from this author!

I was amazed by how hard it was to put this book down. I thoroughly enjoyed disappearing into her world. And it made my bf a little jealous!
Great story I just wish the ending was a little stronger it felt like there was more of their story to be told other than that a great read
I absolutely loved this book! Very well written and emotionally engaging - the characters were strong and realistic....and truly had depth. I love when I feel like I am right there with them on their journey within the pages, and I certainly felt that with this book. I can't wait to see what's next from this author!

Loved it, one of my favourate books.
Great story told in the first person, set in San Diego . I liked the build up between Thea and Alex. I also liked the strong supporting characters that added to the story. The only draw back for me was the sudden end ... maybe because I was enjoying it. 5 star fun read.
I have so much love for this book! It's the perfect book for laying by the beach, staying inside on a rainy day, or for any time you need a pick me up. What I love the most is that the author was able to tell a complete story, a story rich with details, in just one book.
This story made my heart so happy. When we meet our lead, Thea, she's still recovering from a bad breakup, but she has a pretty awesome group of friends helping her get through it. She meets Alex, a super hot restaurant developer, at an art gallery where a photo of Thea's back tattoo is on display, and OH BOY, do the sparks fly!
Thea and Alex's story is definitely no fairytale. These are real people who have real issues, and watching them figure their lives out together is extremely entertaining. Overall, I definitely recommend this book! It's one of those stories you're going to want to share with your girlfriends!
